Blossoms & Roots Cranbrook

Hello! My name is Crystal and I was born and raised in Revelstoke and have been in Childcare for close to 20 years. 

I started with opening a licensed Family childcare while my kids were young. I loved the passion and happiness I had within my business, I wanted to educate myself and blossom so I became an Educator and worked for many years before we moved to Cranbrook in 2022 and took on a 3-5 Childcare, Manager roll the last few years. 

I have a wonderful husband and 2 boys, one now becoming an adult and one mid teenager that enjoys Volleyball and Golf. 

In my spare time I love to travel, go camping, play games and spend time with family and friends. 

I love hearing the children giggle, see their faces when they accomplish a task they think they cannot do. It is important for me to connect, even in the littlest way with each child every day!  

Hello! My name is Rita, and I’m a certified ECE with over five years of professional experience in the field of childcare, and many more years of experience babysitting 7 younger siblings!

My love for childcare has given me many opportunities- most recently I have been an au pair in England where I got to travel and experience rich new cultures while staying true to my passion for childcare. It’s an experience I value highly and will never forget.

I believe children thrive when they are supported wholeheartedly by the adults around them, working together to ensure that their social, emotional, physical, and academic development needs are met.
I work hard to support independence and confidence in children, recognizing that developing a strong sense of self is essential for success as they learn and grow.

I especially enjoy singing with children as music is wonderful at building new pathways in young minds! I also love being outside where children can be free to be completely themselves- running, jumping, playing and connecting to nature.

I like to read, knit, crochet, and swim in my free time, and recently I have started weightlifting and been amazed at how much I enjoy it!

Hello, my name is Siennah and I am a certified early childhood educator assistant. Im currently in college working to become an early childhood educator. I’ve lived in Cranbrook my whole life, and I have a big family including two niece and two nephews whom I adore. I enjoy spending time with family, painting, listening to or playing music (guitar), and being outside near the beautiful mountains where I live. I value the importance of viewing each child as an individual, with emotions, thoughts, and experiences different from others. I will work hard to make the early learning environment a place where children feel safe, welcome, and loved.  

Hi! My name is Dipjoti. I am originally from Nepal 🇳🇵.      I have been working in the early childhood education field for almost two years.

Working with children brings me so much joy. I love creating a warm, safe, and fun environment where every child feels comfortable being themselves, exploring new things, and growing with confidence. I believe every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, and I strive to be someone they can always trust and feel safe with. I enjoy bringing kindness, creativity, and lots of smiles into each day, and I look forward to making a positive difference in the lives of the children and families I work with.

I am originally from Korea. I have extensive experience in early childhood education, having worked at a center in Korea before moving here. I hold an Early Childhood Education Certificate, along with certifications in Infant Toddler and Special Needs Education. Caring for children is not just a job for me; it’s a passion. I truly believe that nurturing young minds is one of the most valuable contributions one can make to society. In addition to my love for working with children, I am an avid sports enthusiast, with a particular fondness for baseball. I am excited about the opportunity to create lasting connections with both the children and our team, and I hope to foster a supportive and enriching environment where everyone can grow together.

Hi, I'm Elena! I completed my Early Childhood Education and Infant Toddler certification through College of the Rockies, and I bring over five years of experience caring for young children. I'm passionate about creating a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where little ones feel valued and free to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.

I believe the most meaningful learning happens through play and connection, and nothing brings me more joy than celebrating each child's milestones — big and small — alongside their families.

Outside of work, you'll find me hiking, cooking up new recipes at home, and exploring new places and the beautiful nature of the Kootenays. I can't wait to meet your little ones and be part of their journey!

I’m originally from Creston but moved to Cranbrook in 2025 while finishing school. I’ve worked with children of all ages growing up, which led me to pursue my ECE. I’m a friendly and caring person who loves creating meaningful moments through keepsake crafts. I love being an Educator as I get to watch the children grow and play while it also keeps me moving! When I’m not working I enjoy baking and spending time outdoors or with my family and my cat. :)
